Ever since the announcement of the PS5 release date, gaming enthusiasts have been waiting excitedly to get their hands on the new gaming console.
A great deal of people want the new PS5, and it shows. In just the first 12 hours, the amount of PS5 pre orders already surpassed that of its predecessors. As per Reuters, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said that the PS5 sales have been “very considerable.”

Exclusive PS5 Games
1. Demon’s Souls
Fans of the original Demon’s Soul would know how brutally difficult the game was. The 2020 remake certainly doesn’t hold anything back, either.
This PS5 exclusive is a remake of the original Demons Soul released for the PS3 back in 2009. It’s an action RPG remake that still holds all aspects that gamers of the original loved. The developers of the game managed to retain all the brutal challenges that the original Demon’s Soul possessed. However, it features enhanced visual graphics and offers a more immersive experience thanks to the new PS5 controller.
Players can once again explore the haunting and beautiful world of Boletaria in this new 2020 remake. Demon’s Soul still offers the same satisfying yet grueling gameplay. However, there are fresh game elements such as new weapons, armor, and new quality-of-life features.
For longtime players of the original, you can still utilize all your previous knowledge about character builds and game tactics. Players can enjoy all these features and benefit from the major improvements that the new hardware has to offer.
Without a doubt, Bluepoint Games did a magnificent job recreating the world of Demon’s Soul. And, they did it without stripping away all the greatness that the original one had.
2. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Developed by Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the second installment in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. This video game marks the debut of Miles Morales in his first solo game as the titular character of Spiderman.
Marvel’s Spider Man Miles Morales is considered by most to be an essential when picking up PS5 games. This Sony exclusive game superbly showcases what the new PS5 is capable of while still providing a cinematic experience that can rival Hollywood’s finest.
Spider Man Miles Morales follows the story of Miles Morales a year after the events of the first game. Under the tutelage of Peter Parker, Miles takes on the role of protecting New York city and its citizens.
Players of the first game may already be familiar with the gameplay of the second installment in the series. After all, Spider Man Miles Morales shares the same gameplay with the first Marvel’s Spider-Man game. However, it features new villains and unique quests that will definitely set it apart from its predecessor.
On top of that, Miles Morales’ character obtains new powers that have never been seen in the SpiderMan universe. Players of this PS5 game are also free to explore the full map that was previously available in the first Marvel’s Spider-Man video game.
With Marvel’s Spider-Man being one of the best PS4 games, it wouldn’t be surprising if SpiderMan Miles Morales turns out to be one of the best PS5 games as well.
3. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Another game developed by Insomniac Games, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, follows the intergalactic adventurers of its titular characters. Rift Apart is the direct follow up to 2016’s Ratchet and Clank, but can still be considered as a standalone title.
This PS5 exclusive perfectly highlights the next gen console’s upgraded features. With the PS5’s ultra-fast solid-state drive (SSD), players can now experience astonishingly fast loading speeds. Our heroes can now hop through portals into different alien worlds with seamless transitions.
Additionally, players can now experience the impact of in-game explosions and clashes. This is due to the PS5 DualSense controller—each weapon in-game has their own unique response that makes combat come alive.
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart still offers the same gameplay elements seen in previous Ratchet & Clank games. This includes familiar gunplay, as well as upgradable weapons and gadgets. However, there are additional aspects to look forward to. Namely, a new playable character, never before seen planets, and alternate dimensions of planets from previous versions of the game.
Gamers can expect the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart release date to be in 2021.

With sharper resolution, smoother frame rate, and reduced glitches, the landscape of Valhalla has even more depth compared to previous Assassin’s Creed titles. Thus, players can easily lose themselves in this absolutely stunning world.
Unlike other Assassin’s Creed games, Valhalla centers on Nordic folklore as players take on the character of Eivor. Set in 873 AD, players must lead the Norsemen clan as they cross the North Sea to the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. There, they must create a new future for the clan.
Moreover, what truly sets Assassin’s Creed Valhalla apart from the previous Assassin’s Creed titles is the customization options available in-game. Players can choose their main character’s —Eivor— gender and switch it anytime they want. Furthermore, players can customize Eivor’s hair, armor, clothing, tattoos, and war paint.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is also available on the Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Microsoft Windows.

From the creators of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated game releases in 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world RPG that’s set across a vast, futuristic metropolis of Night City. This video game is a continuation of the events in Cyberpunk 2020 and takes an alternate path to that of Cyberpunk V3.0.
Players of this action RPG take on the role of V, a hired gunman. Tasked to steal an important piece of technology that holds the secrets to immortality, V is aided by various different companions.
Cyberpunk 2077 follows a non-linear storyline wherein player choices affect the way non-player characters (NPCs) behave and leads to different endings.
Moreover, Keanu Reeves will lend his voice and face to this upcoming Cyberpunk installment. Reeves will take on the role of Johnny Silverhand. As some fans may know, the character first made his appearance in the Cyberpunk series with Cyberpunk 2013.
For many players, one of the most appealing aspects of Cyberpunk 2077 is the level of customization it offers. Similar to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players can customize the appearance of their character. However, Cyberpunk 2077 takes this to a whole new level. Customization options not only include the gender of the character but also the customization of breasts, buttocks, and genitalia. Now that’s inclusive and progressive!
There’s no Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 release date yet. But, the Cyberpunk 2077 release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC is reportedly December 10, 2020. Nevertheless, the game will still be playable on PS5 via PS5 backwards compatibility. The official PS5 and Xbox Series X version release will be sometime around in 2021.
Not everyone would want to immediately purchase the PS5, especially since many already existing titles are playable on the PlayStation 5. However, with developers releasing exclusive PS5 games and the advancements in hardware, it’s tempting to look up the PS5 price and upgrade your console. Don’t worry, we won’t judge you. We’ve done it too.
Overall, the PS5 offers a different gaming experience compared to previous Sony gaming consoles. The appeal of new PS5 games is undoubtedly great. Truly, with the PlayStation 5, play has no limits.
