Dr. Patrick Khaziran, a chiropractor to Hollywood celebrities, including the Kardashians and Logan Paul, has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in a fraudulent scheme with former NBA players. The scheme cost the NBA’s health plan
.3 million in losses, with Dr. Pat receiving a significant portion of the funds. Despite his reputation and association with high-profile clients, Dr. Pat’s illegal activities have resulted in serious legal consequences.
Dr. Pat’s Stellar Clientele
Dr. Patrick Khaziran has built a reputation for himself by catering to the healthcare needs of renowned Hollywood stars. He has worked with A-list names including Jamie Foxx and Diddy. His association with the Kardashian family is highly regarded, as he has made appearances on their Hulu series.
In a recent episode, Dr. Pat received high praise from Khloe Kardashian, who portrayed him as the solution to Scott Disick’s lingering back problems resulting from a car accident. Scott and Khloe visited Dr. Pat’s chiropractic office in Los Angeles, highlighting his expertise and the trust placed in him by the Kardashians.
A Shocking Revelation
However, behind the glitz and glamour, Dr. Pat was involved in a fraudulent scheme that targeted the NBA’s health plan. According to prosecutors, Dr. Pat created fake invoices that former NBA players used to bill the league’s healthcare plan for medical services that were never provided.
The scheme, which ran from 2016 to 2019, resulted in the NBA health plan suffering losses of $1.3 million. Dr. Pat pocketed $439,000 for himself while sharing the remaining funds with the former NBA players involved.
Legal Consequences and Imprisonment
The FBI launched an investigation into the fraud scheme, ultimately leading to Dr. Pat’s conviction. In February, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison. His incarceration is currently being served at USP Lompoc in California.
It remains unknown if “The Kardashians” is being broadcasted within the prison where Dr. Pat is held captive.
